Lady Lions Basketball
Angela Rochell is beginning her 1st season as an assistant coach for Coach Shelton and the UAPB Lady Lions Basketball team. Coach Rochell is an Arkansas native and is from Star City, AR. She attended high school at Star City High. As a senior, she led her team to the only state championship in school history and the overall state runner ups. Coach Rochell is a four year basketball letter winner and graduate of the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville. During her freshman year, she was part of a team that was ranked #9 in NCAA, won the SWC tournament and made an appearance at the NCAA Midwest Regional. While at Arkansas, Coach Rochell received several all tournament and MVP selections and was chosen as team captain. She currently ranks in assists at the University and is on record as having one of the 30 greatest games in the University of Arkansas’ history. |
